Dinner with the Schmucks

Quirky and silly but a bit better than I was expecting. Just barely getting a PG-13 based on some scenes. Reminded me of old Jim Carrey type of slapstick humor.

Inception

Absolutely loved this movie. You could definitely rent it since the special effects aren't necessary to get the movie, plus that would allow you to rewind when you're scratching your head. It's not just a popcorn flick. You definitely need your thinking cap on for this one. But everything is explained and you aren't left frustrated.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

I can't put my finger on why, but this movie was boring. It wasn't that funny, the action was just ok, and the main actor was somewhat annoying. Since I almost fell asleep twice, I can't recommend this even as a rental.

Despicable Me

Great movie! This movie was filled with more emotion and depth than I was anticipating from a cartoon. It was very enjoyable!

Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Much better than the first two!! This was more of a love story than the others. The acting was better and the storyline more interesting.

Get Him to the Greek

Boring!!! I wish I didn't see this movie. It was filled with heavy drug and alcohol usage. However, the characters weren't that funny when they were stoned - which was most of the movie. This was not the comedy I was expecting. In fact, it was borderline depressing.

Book of Eli

Good movie. Interesting plot. For the most part, movie was very slow with several energetic but violent parts thrown in. It's a rental.
